    Xbox 1 controller shutting off.


    I'm very new to this, but my Xbox 1 controller keeps shutting off for no reason even when its plugged in.

    Xbox restarts.

    1- If the controllers are connected then you may still hear the Xbox's fans running after you shut it off. They will remain on until the controllers are fully charged.

    When u put ur xbox on Instant mode when u turn it off "Like from the controller" it stays some how 1/2 on expecting voice commands , but when u totally shuts it off or switch it to power saving mode it shuts off completely "And there is no sound there"

    Controller Vibration.

    Possible reasons:

    1. Your batteries are being detected as very low. The Xbox controller shuts off vibration the battery is very low. Try different batteries?

    2. You have vibration turned off in the game options.

    3. Your controller may be broken.

    My console won't turn off/power down

    1. Using the power button yields the same result - it will shut off the controllers, shut off the output to the TV, turn the lights off on the power button, but then the fans never disengage and after 30 seconds it reboots.

    2. Yes background downloads are enabled, but I have no active downloads, nor any pending downloads.

    it simply turns off the controller as soon as the xbox shuts off, despite me holding the power button on the controller
