    I have an xbox 1 controller without the console. i connected the controller via usb. But after playing the joysticks stopped working in games. Only working on youtube, chrome, home screen.

    I dont really like asking for stuff. But Ill get my laptop on my birthday and it has windows 10 but the birthday is in like 3 weeks.

    Welp just found out you need windows 10/11 to update your controller I only have an old pc with windows 7

    My controller is pretty old so I should update it. I will update it in the morning for me in like 9 hours or more and I will reply if the update fixed it or not.

    Thank you so much for that. First, make sure that you're running the latest OS on your android device.

    Also, if you have a Laptop or PC that you can use in updating your controller that would be great.

    "1. Open the Xbox Accessories app.

    2. Connect your Xbox Wireless Controller by using a USB cable or the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.

    3. When the controller is connected, you'll see the message Update Required if an update is mandatory. Install the update."
