Xbox 1 console don’t play movies of Netflix anymore

We would start to watch a movie through xbox 1 on our netflix account and a minute in the picture would go black but we would have sound.. interesting enough though tv series would play on netflix with no problem. Tried everything from new hdmi cord to
resetting everything still no luck.. any ideas

I see you're having an issue with Netflix on xbox one please do make sure that the app and your console is updated otherwise the app may not be able to work

Commercials made it look good. Of course, nowadays, that means beyond nothing. I'll probably end up renting it or just watching it on Netflix or something. Anymore, I find the only 2 good reasons to go see a movie in a theater are (1) 3D or (2) taking out
a girl. Otherwise, I'll play a video game and wait for it to come out on dvd/bluray/netflix/whatever.

It looks like, Paramount is turning more towards Amazon Instant Video (US) & not dealing with NetFlix anymore..

Paramount, is making Viacom/Paramount movies, available to a wider audience, with a full range of their movies, using their Paramount Movies Application for Xbox 360 etc..

It would appear Netflix servers are BETTER than Xbox Live servers. My Netflix app movie on Xbox 360 is still playing. Even though my console disconnected me from Xbox Live for some reason.

I would like to add this other interesting "symptom". I'm not sure if it's related, but it could be. Below are the steps that I've gone through.

1) Load up a movie on Netflix on my 360 (In this case Justice League for my son)

2) Stop movie and go to Xbox One

3) Start Netflix and go to start Justice League, receive the error in the heading

4) Go back to 360 and try to start Netflix

After step 4, nothing happens on my 360 anymore. I can't even get Netflix to load, let alone get into a movie.

Once I reset the One I can go back and use Netflix on either console.

Setup:

XBox 360 is being run through the HDMI Input on the XBox One

XBox One HDMI output is run directly to my Sanyo HDMI 3 Input (Sanyo Model DP50747)

My family has decided this year to cut the chord, so we have no cable / satellite box to plug into the HDMI Input and "ideally" this setup works so I can use both consoles with only using one TV Input. As far as games, this works as expected, but seems
to have the above side effect with Netflix.
