    HI, I BOUGHT AN XBOX ONE FOR MY FELLA WHEN IT WAS FIRST BROUGHT OUT. IT COST ME A SMALL FORTUNE!!!!!!

    FOR SOME REASON HE IS NOW HAVING PROBLEMS WITH IT STAYING CONNECTED TO THE WIFI UNLESS HE PUTS IT THROUGH THE WIRE!

    I WANT TO KNOW WHY THIS IS HAPPENING.........

    ANY BODY THAT CAN HELP PLEASE????

    Connection issues xbox 1

    Hello,

    My xbox one keeps losing the connection to the internet and in fact to my router. Then if I want to connect back to the router no devices / routers are even available to connect to. If I do a hard reset It finds my wireless router again and I have to put
    the password back in.

    Any help would be much appreciated. Not sure what the router is apart from its Netgear

    Hey SW,

    Thank you for reaching out! I see you tried of the basic troubleshooting, but your console still won't work as you'd like. I want you to try the following go to Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC Address>Clear. This will restart
    the console. Once your console has restarted, try connecting and run the connection test. Let us know how it goes. We hope to hear back from you soon! :D

    Is the Xbox One giving you any kind of error message? Also can you try performing a

    power cycle on the console     and see if that helps.

    What format to use ?

    Try connecting the Xbox One HDMI Cable to HDMI 1 and see if that fixes the issue!
