XBOX 1 blacksreen *help*

So I got the EA Membership today downloaded 3 games and left it for awhile. Came home turned the xbox off and powered it down. Moved my entertainment center and put it back together now my xbox greenscreen come on then screen goes totally black. I've
turned it On and off again a bunch of times did the hold for 10 seconds and holding the power and disc buttons at same time. Still nothing ... Anyone know any other tricks I did ask a friend to add me to the new update betas but I don't think they could
have given me anything without a message first ? If anyone could help me it would be much appreciated I so am going crazy !

Pre-paid redeemable codes are region specific based on where it was purchased and the region your Xbox and account are set to. The region the code was purchased from and the region the Xbox and account is set to have to be the same.

Make sure your Xbox is set to the correct region by checking out this
link and following the steps. If the console is set up correctly then the code that was purchased is from another region and you would need to go back to the point of purchase to get it exchange for the right one.

Maybe check all your connections are ok after moving your entertainment centre?

 

Would the green xboxone screen eve come on tho if the connections were bad ?

 

Ok I got it to work switched TVs and Hdmi cords my 3rd cord. Everything world now but my external hard drive it will not recognize it ?!!!!! wtf it's like a month old

 

Are you in the Preview program?

I've had black screen issues. I've resolved them by pressing and holding the power button on the front of the console until the HDD stops (if you listen you can hear it), then wait 30 seconds and power back on.

I've also had issues with my second external HDD not working after an OS update without removing and re-attaching it (I have two external drives - an SSD and a HDD). Could be a sleep problem so I've just unplugged it for now. See if your external drive has
any power management options that can be set via a PC. Maybe try setting it to never go into powersaving mode.

 

I got it to work I had to buy a new had 3.0 cord ... I unplugged the bad one and the x1 booted right up. I plugged it back in and got blackscreen. I went to Frys and bought a new 3.0 cord which the one it cane with was only a year old and it worked fine
and am now able to get in !!
