    Xbox 1 Audio won't go UP or DOWN


    Having an issue where my Xbox is plugged directly into the TV through HDMI, but I can't make the audio go up or down. The TV volume works JUST FINE and will go up and down, but when I power on my Xbox, it will stay LOCKED at whatever the volume was when
    I power on the Xbox.

    I have no idea how to fix this.

    Interesting. When I go to the same spot on mine it won't even let me highlight TV, Cable or Satellite box, or Audio receiver. Just skips right over to when Xbox turns on send, when Xbox turns off send options. Guess I'll try the reset, maybe a full power
    down.

    Uh, it won't do that. "It can control the following devices and functions:

    Television: on/off, volume up/down and mute

    Cable or satellite receiver: on/off, channel selection (in supported regions)

    Audio-video (AV) receiver: on/off, volume up/down and mute"

    sometimes on fortnte the audio gliches out and what you need to do is before you go on fortnite start an xbox party up then load in to fortnite then go to your friends list then click Y then scroll down to audio channel then go xbox party chat to game xbox
    party chat to game and that usually fixes it

    I think somehow your volume got turned down in your settings on your console. Go to settings, audio and look to see if chat is down or up
