    Xbox 1 Audio and controller.


    So i was streaming on Twitch and playing bo1 zombies. I decided to take a break because i was streaming for a few hours. so i went upstairs and when i came back down i tried to unpause my game but it wouldn't but i could still use my controller in the home
    menu and everything just not in bo1. And my audio just stopped working like i couldn't hear anything but my elgato was still picking up the audio tho. How do i fix.

    Headset stuff

    Basically my x11 has 2 audio jacks , 1 that plugged into the xbox tv out adapter (not hdmi) and 1 that plugged into the controller , the first is now plugged into my tv and game sound comes through fine and in stereo . When an adapter comesout that means
    I can plug the second audio jack into my controller will that push through the chat and activate the mic ?

    Headset audio not functioning starting 1/20

    After an update on the morning of 1/20 any audio coming through a headset plugged into a controller no longer works. Both chat and game audio is not served to the headset.

    Tested Xbox Polk and Astro headsets.

    Tested elite and regular controllers.

    Tested xbox slim and xbox release models.

    AV Receiver issue with volume control

    I am having the same problem. All of a sudden it started controlling tv and forgot about the audio system. But strangely enough when I use Xbox 1 SmartGlass it controls audio system volume just fine? Hopefully we can get some help.

    my best solution for you then would be to connect his Bluetooth to an audio receiver hooked up via HDMI to the Xbox and use a seperate mic plugged into the controller via 1/8” or otherwise certified for Xbox

    That should give him the best interface for audio quality.

    Both controllers audio is working coz when i plug both in only 1 works as soon as i unplug the working 1 the other 1 gets the audio. When i plug the 1st one in again no sound untill i unplug the other 1 again.

    by bluetooth if your pc has this (does not support audio passthrough so no headest support via controller).

    by wire (this supports audio passthough for headsets via controller)

    by purchasing the xbox wireless adapter for pc (this supports audio passthough for headsets via controller)
