Xbox 1 and XBL Friends.

So tonight I decided to check out how many friends, my friends who play on Xbox 1,, have, and came across one of my friends who has 1,035 Xbox Live friends, according to this site. When I'm on my Xbox 360, the 360 system it says he has only 34 friends,
but when I log onto my Xbox 1 console, it says he has a staggering 1,034+ you friends and 70 followers. I've only seen him play on Xbox 1 for the past 3 weeks. He's Australian and I won't mention his GT. I have 101 friends (a full 360 friends list + 1 other).

I don't generally accept random friend/follower requests unless I've played with you or we have something in common. I also don't play that much on Xbox 1 despite having 13 games for Xbox 1, but that will change when Minecraft, Happy Wars, Halo MCC, Forza
Horizon 2, Project Spark full version, and Halo 5 come out. Maybe some people just send lots of random requests. The friend who has 1,035 friends added even some of my friends! I know of even one of my NZ friends she added everyone on my friends list just
cuz she was bored. Maybe peps are trying to go for the 1,000 mark. Usually I'm the one who accepts requests when I first joined Xbox 360 I remember sending some random friend requests but it wasn't to every person I meet online. I sometimes even get frequent
game and XBL Party invites from randoms. Just like today I was in an XBL Party with a friend and some random kept sending me party invites (Xbox 360). I had to Block Communications otherwise they would have kept spamming me with the Dashboard notification.

Need help plz

my friend bought 1 year xbl gold from the xbox store on her xbox and its saying that she still doesnt have xbl gold... anyone know how to sort this problem out? It would be appreciated If you could help

I agree the social and communication side of XBL is important. XBL has been having issues the past two days especially with friends and it affects Xbox 360 and Xbox 1 and Xbox 1 smart glass too.

When XBL has issues (they're had them so far twice this year), when playing on Xbox 360, I use Game Chat that always tends to work especially when XBL Party is broken due to issues.

I also prefer the 360's UI as it's familiar and more youth friendlier than the Xbox 1's UI which many peps on here on XBL and my friends say it's simply too Windows 8 which we don't quite like about it. And it looks too grown up too compared to the 360 UI.
Probably why Xbox 1 doesn't have Voice Messages and change the Dash background is because they stuck a PC OS on an Xbox, or the Windows 8 styled UI (even thought Xbox 1 has 3 OS a windows kernel, Xbox os, hypervisor) needs to be programmed to understand what
I like to call Xbox Language. Probably why so many Xbox Live Features were missing when Xbox 1 launched.

 

So you wanted to point out how much no one likes your friend? 1K friends and only 70 followers? Sounds like a real needy person.

 

I come across a lot of people who just add everyone they see. I couldn't tell you why, though. Maybe they think having a full friends list makes them look cool because they don't understand that they're just followers until the other person follows them
back.

Personally, I won't follow anyone unless they are following me as well. There were a few people here on the forums I thought seemed cool so I gave them a follow, but they never followed back so I removed them. Whatever, can't win em all.
