    I am from Russia, now living temporary in Lithuania, my relatives are living in Denmark and USA (so i visit this countries too), next year i am probably going to live in Italy, and 3 days ago i bought an xbox one s, set it to default US region (because i
    have no idea where i'am gonna to live next) everywhere and this is my story.

    Two days ago i bought Xbox Live Gold 1 month card from Xbox Live Gold | Xbox and while redeeming it says oops, something went wrong on our side, so here is your XBOS1005 error.

    Ok, but cmon, i just bought this code on your official, super legal microsoft web site, and same site says me what this code is bad, you can go shoot yourself but we wont activate it. Ok, happens, lets try to chat with Support, during next 3 hours (really,
    3 hours, i have screenshots) we tried to change my microsoft account location, xbox region, signing out, and in and even to turn off xbox with cable unplug (seriously?), still nope. Nor US region, nor UK, nor DE regions let me activate my code, in the end
    of the day Support team sent me another 1 month code, and guess what? It doesn't work too. So now, after all this account modifications, i just want to know the region of my xbox account now, it's not a problem for me to purchase xbox gold from ebay for US/UK
    or whatever region, but i am already have some money spent on code what doesn't work, and i don't want to repeat this, so i am just asking what region code i need to purchase now?

    Regards, I would like to know if someone could help me, I want to change a gold membership of xbox, my account is new but when I try to exchange, I get the message "something went wrong try it later". To exchange on the internet marks the code XBOS1005,
    someone knows if changing the associated account is solved or some method to solve? I read in several places and comment about the region, can you change the region? Or changing the associated account has one with a different region would it? Greetings.

    to see the region of your Xbox Live account please go to the following link, it will have a country/region field that will show the account's region: Sign in to your Microsoft account
