Xbone Wifi not connecting anymore

So i come home from being out all yesterday and i turn on my Xbone to play with some friends only to find out that i wasn't connected to Xbox Live so i go to the network settings try to test my connection, that doesnt work so i tried to do all the usual
troubleshooting; power cycling, unpluging the Xbone; restarting the router and still nothing. I even moved my Xbone from my room to right next to my router and it knows my wifi is there but it wont even connect. When i plugged in an ethernet cord i finally
connected but i couldnt even join a party without having a network problem that wouldnt let me talk. And now the next morning, after leaving the Xbone unplugged all night, still nothing. Please help!

Controller not connecting via wifi anymore

Hello

I have a Xbox One controller and the wifi receiver. It used to work perfectly, but recently I connected with a cable, and since then the controller never linked with the receiver anymore.

A second problem is, I have a Xbox 360 controller, but I never managed to connect it to the pc, neither wifi or cable. Any thoughts?

The xBone uses WiFi direct, so maybe we will start seeing WiFi direct headsets/headphones coming to market..

 

Hi, on the xbox go to settings, all settings, network, advanced setting, alternate MAC address.

Select the clear option and then the restart option.

 

I did this but it's still not working

 

Are you seeing any error message at all ? Maybe try removing the power from your router for a few minutes before then trying to connect again.

 

The only message i get is "Can't connect to the internet" when i test my connection and i've tried all that already
