    Xbone update: Unable to join games


    Contacted Xbox support twice now, just a heads up, and was asked to post on the forum, since they didn't have a solution.

    Some backstory (ooo story time). Have two xbox ones in the same room, before the new update no issues joining games, one xbox received the update, still no problem. Now, when both of them had the update, cannot join each others game now. I have factory reset
    one console, power cycled both and left them unplugged for hours. disconnected and reconnected to the network. Can send and receive invites, yet when accepting, nothing happens. No errors, nuthin'. Yesterday power cycling the xbox worked, yet had to be done
    each time it was turned on. Today, that is not resolving. So, not sure where to go from here. As I was asked when I contacted support, it's your turn moderators Xbone update: Unable to join games :D

    Dead Island Definitive Collection

    Has anyone had issues trying to join friends playing this? trying to play dead island and it keeps coming up unable to join game yet it will join random players in seconds......

    battlefield 4....problems *sigh*

    Why would I make it up? For me the Xbone version was unplayable not just with last gen 720p and jaggies galore but sound glitches, texture pop in, unable to join 90% of games or picking Conquest and getting Team Deathmatch for example.

    That was my experience even AFTER the "update" which fixed nothing. I didn't own the PS4 version until just before Christmas and since then it works a hell of a lot better than the Xbone version. Maybe I'm the only one to have a playable PS4 version, yeah
    that must be the reason....

    I am having a similar issue with both FH2 and FM5 on xbone. Mine is that I can join friends online road trip (FH2) or online racing (FM5) without issues most of the time, but I am unable to start one or join any random rooms for either.

    The handling of the cars are worse but the worst thing is I'm unable to transfer my character across from the 360. Rockstar are providing an update for PS4 today and the XBone tomorrow. Hopefully that cures it.

    EXIT707 you can just mod the Xbox 360 at that point and play online via tunneling.

    Now with XBONE games, they shut the service down, well, unless someone really does some work.... well the games and you will be XBONED... unable to work.
