XBONE Sounds like R2D2: Random shutoff/stubborn boot.

Hey guys,

I've been seeing issues very similar to mine since this started but with no luck of a self fix so here I am... And the title says it all. It all started with the disk ejection noise going haywire even followed by randomly spitting out any disk in the drive.
I'm not talking about just a subtle one or two beeps but several over about 15 seconds. A few days later it started to randomly shut off periodically. Then more frequently. Shortly after that after I would power off the system intentionally it started to turn
itself on (gotta love being woekn up to a bright, white screen of death at 3am).

I started to unplug the power brick after that which seemed to help a little and even switched wall sockets but not for long. A few weeks after this nightly ritual, every time I turned on my xbox whether via the controller or the box, it would get to the loading
screen, beep at me, and turn off. Even doing a power cycle on the brick didn't solve any issues. And now we're here. Tonight I was trying to update my system and it took me 30 minutes of fighting power cycles just to complete the download (not even install).

It's hardwired into my network, has always been plugged into the wall directly, I've turned off all sorts of other electronic devices, set it up in two rooms on different tvs, and I even sacrificed a goat to appease Mr. Gates to no avail (kidding on that last
part... it was a PS3).

My warranty is ending soon so *some* response from Microsoft would be appreciated.

It's not a new design, they've placed a new sound on the beeper that activates when you open the drawer or turn the console on. None of the slims make a noise when you turn them on with the controller.
