XBOne: Network test okay but no xbox live

If I test the network it says everything is okay (and I have connected with no problems on many occasions) but on 4 or 5 occasions recently I have been unable to connect to xBox live despite the 0% packet loss and almost 100mbps download and 30mbps upload
speeds!

Service page says core services are running so why does my machine frequently fail to connect to xbox live? I have tried hard resets, yada yada yada and the problem is intermittent not permanent.

Frustrating as I only get to play around once a week so my gaming this week is a no go.

Xbox live won't connect

I have the same issue. The support pages say that if internet tests okay then live will connect. Well, the internet and multiplayer connections test okay but no xbox live. Dull.

 

Xbox Live not connecting... Again.

Tried again this evening... still no xbox live. Reset, unplugged, all that (futile)
[Mod Removed]... Still nothing. Network tests... Everything is okay! NO IT

Im in the same exact boat you are man, its says Connect to Xbox Live Heres some help to get you back online, and it brings me to my network settings that all check out good and online.

We pay $50 a year for a service to be constantly interrupting the little time we have to play these games that require us to have to pay the service fee. I expected this 3 years ago from Sony with their free service, but not from ever Microsoft. They have
all the money in the world to create the biggest network of servers and some hack team takes them down multiple times, shows you what we are paying for. Its seems like they are focused on pushing units and beating sonys numbers rather that worry about after
you give them your money.

 

Yeah, frustrating and I never had these issues with xb live on the 360.

 

Oh... And just checked this morning and it's still not working. So down for 12 hours plus so far. Looking forward to some complementary xbox live for a year, Microsoft. Do the right thing!

 

Yea similar problem here. Can not download any games. Glad I went out and purchased this piece of junk and halo for no reason. Knew I should have bought a ps4. I was told they have the best engineers working on it. I told them if they were the best engineers
then there wouldn't be an issue in the first place.

 

downloading not working, I a code for a game, but can't download and it's already weekend

 

Same boat was in the middle of the new raid in destiny and got DCed and no live can even watch Netflix the one time i wish i had cable

 

Im getting code 0x80072f8f constantly just to watch Hulu and Netflix, looks like Im going out shopping for a roku or amazon tv thing. I better get a good Christmas eve present from Microsoft in my message box for this crap, because you know live will definitely
be down on Christmas. And I dont mean a new set of pants and jacket for a game MS

 

Mine came back up yesterday evening but almost 24 hours out of action and this is probably the 4th or 5th time it's happened, which considering I only get online once a week or so, is just not good enough.

 

I have the same problem, i have internet connection but can´t log in to xbox live, but there somethig rare, if i leave the xbox on eventually i get log in, if i turn off the problem return all over again, this is happening since the last update.

I´m really desappointed because the xbox team don´t have a solution, they only point out the ISP services.

 

Definitely not ISP-related. Internet is fine on all my other devices and the xbox is wired so they can't blame wireless either.

 

ive got the same probs the msg i get its this prog is wrong Maxim and its on 360 thats sold and my Connection is good as every 1 else in here it seem.

its not fun to dont be Abel to play games and get disconnected all the time

 

This is ridiculous! It's been like this for over 15 hours now. Microsoft, what the hell is going on? Some third-rate hackers are DDoSing your freaking servers! I don't pay over 50 dollars a month for this crap! Take some action, get better security for your
systems, because what you're doing about this now is absolutely unacceptable! This is the fourth time! FOURTH TIME, this has happened in just over a month! This is a sad and depressing state of affairs you guys are having. We pay you to keep this up and running,
we pay YOU to keep XBL safe and secure! What's next, are these hackers gonna get our CC information too because the security on that is broken?! Fix this, Microsoft! We're all just about fed up with watching you falter over hackers!
