Xbone needs updating every time I power on

G'day WotF! Sorry to hear about those frequent updates. Let's have you try a
power cycle to start. This will let the console shut down completely and clear out any junk data.

There was very recently an update for all Xbox One consoles, but it should only install once. Let us know the results and we'll continue from there.

nope, that's the short answer. the long answer goes something like this... no one on the xbox one design team thought it would be a good idea to talk to the xbox 360 team when they designed the xbone, as a result every part of the xbone only half functions
as advertised, including the audio. just returned my headset today because aside from the audio cutting in and out and popping in my ears, there is as you pointed out no mic monitoring. every time my xbone needs to be reset, every time it kicks me out of
a game, every time I have to fumble thru the new and slower friends menu I just cant believe I bothered buying this device. honestly I still have my 360 and it works much better in all aspects then the xbone. can someone please just sack the xbone team and
turn development over to the 360 team? please?

I would think with all the tech in the Xbone, that it would update whenever needed, automatically, especially since they stay "online" all the time, but dunno for sure.

You only have to look at almost every single port to see Xbone can't handle PS4 games. Infamous was built from the ground up on PS4 to take advantage of it's much more powerful hardware compared to Xbone.

Devs have openly said PS4 exclusives will never be possible on Xbone, it just cant handle 1080p and high framerates.

Xbone ports will always be inferior but I got my Xbone not for the specs but beacause it too will have games PS4 won't.
