Xbone needs updating every time I power on

Discus and support Xbone needs updating every time I power on in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hi I have an issue where every time I turn my xbox one on it need to do a console update.     Xbone needs updating every time I power on


    Hi I have an issue where every time I turn my xbox one on it need to do a console update. I dont keep it in standby mode to save power in the house. Has anyone else have or had this problem? It kinda sucks going to bed and waking up the next morning and
    powering on my console to an update every time, any help would be appreciated. Thank you

    Update?

    why does every time I turn my Xbox one on I need to update the console? I keep " updating " it 3 times already..

    PS: my power adapter keeps making weird sounds. The fan maybe.

    G'day WotF! Sorry to hear about those frequent updates. Let's have you try a
    power cycle     to start. This will let the console shut down completely and clear out any junk data.

    There was very recently an update for all Xbox One consoles, but it should only install once. Let us know the results and we'll continue from there.
