    I have an old xbox account on an xbox360 and a new one on the xbox one that are both connected to the same email so when I sign into microsoft to change something on the xbox one it goes to my old account and doesnt let me change to my new one

    Xbox gamertag mixup

    There is a person on YouTube that has made several videos for GTA V. His YouTube name is the same as my Xbox Live GT (Kronos). The problem is, everyone on Xbox is confusing him with me and sending friend requests to me by the dozens. Needless to say this
    has become a pain as I don't know any of these people, nor did I make videos about GTA V.

    I called Xbox live support and they advised me to hide my account from public view so that only friends can see my account. I hope this works!!

    It sounds like you may have used a different e-mail address on your Xbox 360, as you would't be able to create a second account with the same e-mail. Do you have a different e-mail address you can test for signing in?

    Hey there One! Unfortunately once a game is redeemed it can not be transferred to another account. I'm sorry for the mixup.

    Email - Account mixup

    It sounds like the email you are recieving mails to is your contact email address. This can, and in most cases, be different to your login , or Microsoft Account, email address.

    So logging in with that email has actually created a new profile specifically for that email address.

    Do you have any other email addresses you use? You can try sign in with them to see if they log into your account.
