Xbone has internet but yet no internet? #Titanfall

Hey.

So I finally got my Xbox One.

Changed to static IP outside DHCP-range, enabled UPnP and open Xbox One/Live ports in portforward.

- My connection is good. I have internet, it says (I always had internet on it tho - downloaded stuff on xbone)

- My NAT went from "Strict" to "Open" (I thought VICTORY!)

- My multiplayer connection is good when I test it in settings.

When I go on Titanfall-game I dont get anything up rather than the menu. When I try to connect it is just trying to connect. When I go to change server I don't get any. "Data Center: Searching...". which it has stayed on for quite a while now (15 mins).

I have 1 mbps down and 4 mbps up with 326 ms latency (which is a lot right?). I have 2% download packet loss and 0% upload packet loss. 1480 MTU (whatever that actually is). A router with an extender. Currently sitting on a Mac that is on the same network,
just the 2,4gHz broadband and the Xbox is one 5gHz now (I've tried both - no change).

Could ANYONE help? I only have the Titanfall game.

I got it a lot on the xbox 360 Titanfall, but haven't had the trouble yet with xbone

bought my xbox one.... love nfs rivals. wish titanfall would hurry up ans get here.... as well as halo 2 anniversary

 

Have you tried a wired connection?

 

Like Xeno said, try a wired connection if you haven't already.

I've seen a few on the Official Titanfall forums with similar issues when using wireless but quite a few said it was ok when using wired.

 

I had a similar problem. Perfect internet, open NAT, all correct ports open and yet I still couldn't get a connection. I tried everything. Finally I had to break out my 100ft Ethernet cable and run it down to directly connect to my router. Boom. Success.
However having an Ethernet cable hanging from our open ceiling wasn't ideal, it was a temporary solution.

Give a wired connection a try and see if it at least helps. Then go from there.

 

Its really far away and I will only be able to cable it for test purposes, but I don't have the option to buy the cable now.. I talked to Titanfall on Twitter and got their ports. I also opened their ports but its still the same. Guess no Titanfall on me
today either.

 

My son had an issue like your having so I moved my wireless router up 2' and to the left 6' and it fixed it. Try moving your router or XB1. Sometimes you only have to move them a few inches. I know it sounds crazy but it's true. Also try testing with a wired
connection just like others have suggested. Let us know if it works.

 

I suspect 1 mbps download (and the 326 ms ping) is just too slow for Titanfall. If a wired connection isn't possible then consider using an internet plug - I use them and they work great....but their success depends on whether the router and plug you want
to use for the Xbox are on the same power loop/ring.

You should look into Ethernet Over Power. I use it, works brilliantly, no 100ft cables necessary.

You have my sympathies, We have been trying since Saturday to get into a game and all we have managed to do is the training level, which makes things worse as it looks so cool. I have done the same, port forwarding, alternate Mac address, re-boot the X
one even turned the router off for 30 seconds and turned it back on (yawn!) I have tried a wired connection but nothing works. If anyone has any ideas please let us know as EA and xbox live are helping.

 

with 326 ms latency ?.....you'll be dead in the game before you even see it on your screen.....

 

It's just the xbox that gets 300ms. Its down to 200 now tho.

 

Will try ethernet over power.

UPDATE:

Ethernet adapters through power circuit worked. Still 200ms on the Xbox but on Titanfall I got instant connection to server with 50ms.
