    Xbone Chatpad Question


    Does the Chatpad get powered up by the controller, or does it take batteries, or does it need to be plugged in from time to time (rechargeable)?

    I've scoured the internet and haven't been successful in finding an answer. You'd think they would include this information somewhere, but it's not. Not even in the troubleshooting guide.

    P.S. Why in the world isn't there a category called "Xbox Accessories and Hardware"? This was the only category that wasn't completely wrong for this question... <rolling eyes>

    If you owned the Xbox 360 chat pad, it has similar power usage. It uses the most power when it is being used.

    Cool. So it gets power from the controller itself. Does it eat up the controller's battery pretty quickly or is there no real noticeable difference?
