    XBOne chat messages not getting to 360 E


    In our house, we have two XB One consoles and a 360 E that I use regularly, which is only a few weeks old.

    I can send messages to both the XB One consoles from the 360 E and they can reply to me, but their replies don't reach my console. I have to log into xbox.com or use the Android app to see their messages.

    We found out today that if the XB One users launch a backwards compatible game and send me a message through the 360 action menu, it works. I get the message right away.

    The support rep I chatted with last night said it should work no matter the method the message is sent from, but it doesn't. Which is rather unfortunate, since the goal is to be able to communicate with my kids between our consoles.

    FWIW, I can't upgrade the 360 E to an Xbox One due to many reasons, including lack of backwards compatibility for games I play regularly, and the inability to re-download and play games that were purchased using the 360 and 'deshelved'.

    Please fix this, it impacts comms with users that have XBOne and still play with us 360 owners. It doesn't seem all that difficult to address...

    Xbox One Skype Chat

    I have heard that you CAN party chat between 360 and Xbone. Skype is not replacing party chat. Its a separate app.

    What is up with the party system?!

    It would seem that not allowing 360 wireless headsets to work with the Xbone, is a bit on the greedy side. Same with being allowed to party with 360 friends with your xbone, even just to chat, seems like a pretty simple thing to me... I can receive messages
    from them... Also, since PCs can do it with different hardware and software, why segregate 360 players and Xbone players from game servers like BF4 and Cod Ghost... It is the same game, especially with CoD.. In BF4 just have the option for 24 player servers
    for xbone owners to select.. Makes no sense how hardware requires a different Xbox Live server, and game servers...

    Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter Not available anywhere?

    My position is simple: No Titanfall for me until I can use chat with my A50s on my XBone. Furthermore, I've moved back to my 360 and PS3 for gaming. If Microsoft doesn't get off its duff and get the adapter out I'll be rethinking my PS4/XBone decision.

    Well that would really suck if it wasn't possible for party chat between xbone and 360. I'm actually surprised that very little has been said about this.
