    XBONE and MPG Audio Issues


    For whatever reason, I cannot get the audio to work on mpg files that I have converted. The audio works fine on the PC, but on the XBONE, no joy. The video is fine. Is there something that I am missing?

    HDMI handshake issues after lasted update 6.2.11271.0

    Tivo Roamio Pro connected to XBone. i am having HDMI handshake issues after the latest update 6.2.11271.0. Turning XBone ON and Tivo thinks i am trying to steam to an unauthorized device due to copyrighted material on my Tivo. a hard reset of XBone fixes
    this issue, but then, sometimes i have video but no audio. "Xbox Turn Off" then wait and "XBone On" usually fixes both Video and Audio issues.

    all HDMI devices are routed through a Pioneer Elite SC-07 receiver.

    also "XBone On" has become a hit or a miss.....

    XB One setup with TV, Freeview HD and soundbar

    Hi guys

    Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this. I've got a friend who has decided to jump into the XBone zone and I just have a couple of setup questions to ensure he gets the best experience.

    He's got a 50" Panasonic LED with a Panasonic soundbar and a Panasonic Freeview HD DVR and an XBOne.

    He watches a lot of DVR stuff from the Freeview box and I'm aware that the XBone doesn't control the DVR function. Hence why I'm concerned how he could control or view the DVR programmes through the XBone.

    So on the setup I'm thinking.

    Aerial - Freeview

    Freeview - HDMI - XBone

    XBone - HDMI - TV

    XBone - Optical Audio - Soundbar

    Am I correct in that this setup, when he plays games or Blu rays & DVD's through the XBOne, this will be through the TV and audio through the soundbar?

    If he then wants to watch Freeview and his recorded programmes, he can simply switch off the XBone and the Freeview signal - audio and visual - will pass through the standby XBone and allow him to watch these trouble free?

    I understand that by switching off the XBone he won’t get to use the OneGuide but until the console can control his DVR recordings, this seems to be the best way to enjoy both DVR and the XBOne when he wants gaming and Blu Ray
    playing.

    Ultimately, will the audio optical and the HDMI visual pass through the XBone when it's in standby?

    I can't hear the people

    I have the same issue. I had to change my HDMI audio settings from 5.1 uncompressed to stereo uncompressed to "fix" it.

    It's pretty annoying, but because this is the only game I got so far I cannot tell whether it is a Sunset Overdrive issue or a common thing on XBone. I've got an LG HT965TZ home theatre system. (www.lg.com/.../lg-HT965TZ)

    Once my preordered AC Unity will arrive I will be able to check it with a different game as well. Or is there any HDMI audio testing utility for XBone I could use?

    - XBOX One plugged into Sony Bravia TV HDMI Input 1

    - Direct TV HR22 plugged into XBone HDMI In

    XBOX ONE - TV FREEZE / LOST CONNECTION ISSUE

    I am having the TV freeze issue. It only happens during periods of silence. It unfreezes as soon as any audio is generated. It is confirmed this is happening to many users around the world.

    Microsoft should confirm this is an issue, announce a pending patch and fix this. Currently a lot of people are forcing silent audio to the XBONE to force it to continue processing video.

    Poor from for a release product.

    Does the xbox play mp4 and avi files.

    The PS4/Xbone should be able to play MKV videos and FLAC audio files, I'd be disappointed if they didn't.

    How do I check if my mic is working in BF4?

    My TB is into the TV audio thingy and into the Xbone USB. I was hoping wearing the TB, then plugging the Xbone "basic" headset into the controller (then just hang it around neck) would work but I havent tried it. But it may do as POC said.
