    XBLive Title Update Causing Load Screen Freeze


    I have narrowed it down and determined that it is specifically the "Title Update" file that is saved under the FNV folder on your HDD.

    With all of the DLC content installed, i can play/load games, and play offline, without a title update. The only problem with this is that the DLC content does not actually load in to the game.

    Now with the same situation, but with the title update file, i can no longer load the same game file that i loaded 5 minutes earlier. As soon as i delete the title update, it allows me to play again, on that same save file.

    Is this still an issue or am i behind the times?

    I really want to play the dlc content, but it seems i can't play without connecting to XBLive, but i must download the Title Update to connect, at which point the game will no longer load. Its a vicious circle of Fallout sadness.

    Any ideas?

    Portal 2 freeze due to new update?

    I strongly believe the mandatory portal 2 live update is causing the game to freeze while loading the main menu. Insert game --> Title screen, Press start --> FREEZE

    Firstly try the screen freeze solution at:
    support.xbox.com/.../screen-freeze-solution    . It’s a terrible guide and does nothing really to help you, but nevertheless try it out.



    Try turning the console on while holding the sync button on the console down. Wait for the console to fully boot up. This will clear any corrupted updates that could be causing this. If this happened immediately after the latest system update, you along
    with a truck load of others have fallen victim to it and will need to set up a repair.

    I say xbox go to Netflix....the Netflix title screen appears and the circular loading icon comes up at the bottom, then it freezes and goes back to the home screen.....any ideas?

    I fixed it a few days ago. I have been playing it offline cause of the title update keeps freezing my game and turning the screen black. I uninstalled the title update. they need to fix the update. I did by it on disc. also I did what most of the things
    you said but I will not be redownloading the title update till its fixed. I also talked to warner brothers interactive entertainment. also playing though the level and then redownloading the update does not work cause you have to go back multiple times to
    that level.

    The only bug that bugs me is when I'm on a loading screen and it freezes causing me to UNPLUG my xbox and plug it back in. Grrr!!!
