XBLA . Peggle 2 . save game issues

I have Peggle 2 downloaded on my upstairs xbox 360 , it works fine . I also have my profile on my downstairs xbox 360 , for use when we have company . The game saves on both consoles but the downstairs xbox 360 starts a fresh game every time I load it .

I have re-downloaded the game , cleared the system cache . Used Hdd , onboard memory and cloud for game save but it still starts fresh game every time we try .

This does not happen to any other game . Hoping you can help

The joys of Peggle.

Peggle Duel with friends is a wicked little on line mode, Peggle is definatly one of the Top 5 XBLA Games of all time.

I can only speak for myself, but usually my games don't erase they own saves. So when one does I don't think that's normal. The time I could have spend finishing the game won't be used on peggle2. I don't want to restart the game all over again so I'll just
find myself an other game to play.

I just feel as I played an advanced DEMO version of the game I payed for.

Microsoft and EA are protected by the terms of purchase I signed so they don't have to bother. I understand that. I just don't feel it's normal. Like a person buying a movie would probably expect to see it to the end without having to whatch the begin over
again and again. That's all.

 

I do not have the game but is there an option in the main menu to choose your storage device? If so, make sure the proper storage device is selected. In the case of multiple consoles you should want to save to the Cloud.

 

unfortunately its more complicated than that .

luckily i am pretty good when it comes to stuff like this , but this has had me pulling my hair out for 2 days now . Even Microsoft support have no idea why its doing this . The right options are being picked but just for some reason keeps starting the
game from scratch every time I load the game and pick the RIGHT storage device .

 

Same exact problem here. Downloaded to bedroom 360 initially, then re downloaded to live room 360. Live room 360 starts fresh every time.

 

I want answers and a patch. I'd like some refund also for pain and suffering. It took many searches to reach this forum. I should have started here. Let's see if anything is done.

 

I have the same issue only now it will not retain any of my saved info. I reported the problem to PopCap today. Maybe I will get a reply.

 

PopCap has responded to my email:

"Thank you for taking the time to report your experience. We are aware of this issue affecting a number of players, and we are currently investigating. We appreciate your patience."

I will keep you updated.

 

How can this not be fixed yet? I close to demanding a refund

 

I got a refund only week after I bought this game. Phone MS. Politely explain Popcap still have not fixed the issue, the game is not fit for purpose and MS should not be selling it on their dash, or should at least be warning purchasers that this issue exists.

Money, or loss of it, is the only thing that will make companies pay attention.

 

Contacted MS support about this last night and they refused to provide a refund. They said to contact Popcap and offered the following suggestions: clear cache, re-install game. I tried both of these and the game still would not save progress. The save icon
shows up on screen, the save file is created, but no progress is saved. Starts at the beginning every time. Just want to play the game I paid for.
