XBL user signout at every game/app launch

Hey all,

I've been having this issue for about a month now, shortly after the last major update went into effect. It started when I updated my Amazon Prime video app.

Every time I start a new game or app, I'm logged out of Xbox Live. Then the game/app/whatever loads up, and before I can load it I have to sign back in. This has made downloading large games a nightmare, as they get to about 10-15% and then I'm logged out.

I saw somewhere that a potential fix was clearing the 360's cache 3 or more times. I've done that 10 times consecutively and have the problem still. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

If you can't launch the app w/o an error message. It's XBL, if you don't see the app look under games and apps

Unfortunately, you're not alone. I also see continuous disconnections and immediately testing the connection to Xbox Live is successful. It also hit us after this last update. Our previous online status has been rock solid for over 2 years. We're on Cox
in Phoenix and we have plenty of bandwidth (50MB/sec...) on their top tier.

 

I am having the same problem. Trying to watch netflix has become a pain in the butt. I was hoping for an easy solution. Looks like that is not going to happen an time soon.
