    XBL Subscription Cancelled? (NOT requested)


    So I get a notification on my live email account from Microsoft stating:

    This mail is confirmation that your subscription to Xbox Live Gold has been cancelled on Friday, April 18, 2014.

    I figured it might be spam, so I login to my Xbox One and sure enough it shows I no longer have a subscription.

    I find this strange and check my records. Yup, paid for 1 yr membership on March 8th, 2014 and payment shows as processed by my bank.

    I should be good until March 2015. What's going on?

    Will Xbox Live Gold Cards work with EA Access?

    You talking XBL Currency? or XBL Gold? Dont think Gold subscription cards will work.

    This is something that seems to be happening a lot lately. Not sure why though. You'll need to contact support to get it fixed. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or

    I´ve had this problem, and I know that it happens when you purchase a Live Gold subscription via Xbox One and you pay with a payment method that is associated with your Microsoft account but not with your Xbox account.

    Did you pay with your credit card on your console? Does that credit card shows here:

    live.xbox.com/.../ManagePaymentOptions     ?

    You can't, but an XBL Support agent can help you cancel the Family Pack subscription and then use the credit from the cancelled subscription to create a new Family Pack. See notes below to contact XBL agents.

    How do I turn off auto renew?

    You can log into account.microsoft.com and view your subscriptions from there. Find your XBL subscription and you can cancel or turn of auto renew from there.
