XBL rewards show wrong vip stars

last year i had vip 3stars iv spent well over 900$ an my vip aint going up now this year it shows 1 star vip

I didn't get any Credits

I build up my VIP and did what it says and it doesn't look right. I didn't got any credits or any VIP stars. What i done to build my credit and VIP wasn't reconsidered and therefore wasn't updates for a while and so based on what i checked Xbox live reward
should give me 5 VIP stars and reward credits based on the VIP stars and a lot of reward credits you forgot to apply. At least 250,000 reward credits must be added for Reward team update i

We see that last year you only had 2 MyVIP stars. Furthermore, MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to
the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December 2016. Since last year you had less than $600 in spending, you were placed as a one star member at the beginning of this year. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).

The Microsoft Rewards program only has 2 levels. They don't have VIP stars like the Xbox Rewards program had. On the rewards site if you press status it will show your level information and if you click on "See my level benefits" it will show you what's
available at each level.

What offer are you looking for credits from?

In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates. So individual purchases will not show on the rewards site. Just offers.

No. Preorders are not eligible for VIP.

I'm trying to understand why pre-orders are not eligible for vip. Is it because otherwise you would get rewarded twice, e.g. once for the vip star boost and once for the on demand pre-order punch card?

The fact that it's not eligible for the star boost is a real downer for me. I would like to pre-order Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition in order to play the Halo Wars Definitive Edition straight away.
