  1. XBL Rewards Region Switch

Is there a way to manually change my Rewards region? I used to live in Mexico a long time ago and now I'm in USA and since I started using USD as currency, I haven't been able to score any rewards at all from all of the games that I've bought since then.

I did try the opt-out/re-join option but it is not working for me.

    Thanks for the help!

    :)

    XBL Rewards Region Switch

    Hello Zerato,

We see that you still have a Mexican Microsoft Account Region. Your past Rewards account was also set to this region, so it was only rewarding purchases in MXN. We see that you have opted out of the program, but still see that you have a Mexican Microsoft Account
region. If you re-enroll you will likely continue to be a Mexican Rewards member. If you have only recently changed your regions, we have not yet received that updated information.

    Pending credits wrong currency

    Hello Fumetsu Akaichi,

We see that you registered into the program as a British Microsoft Account user. On March 25, 2013, you first switched to the Netherlands for your Microsoft Account. However, since a Rewards Account is a promotional account separate from your Microsoft Account,
changing the region in your Microsoft Account will not change your region in your Rewards Account. We see that due to your regional currencies mismatching, you were unable to receive a deposit until February 2015. This is because in August 17, 2014, you switched
back to the United Kingdom region, so your Rewards Account and Microsoft Account regions were again matching. We see that you then decided to switch back to the Netherlands and United Kingdom regions a few more times, ultimately culminating with you switching
and staying in the Netherlands region since April 21st, 2016. You then chose to remain in that region and continue to request deposits, which failed since you are not a Netherlands Rewards Member. Previously, you could resolve this issue by switching your
Microsoft Account region to match your Rewards Account region, or by closing your old Rewards Account and creating a new one that would match your then current Microsoft Account region. However, since the program has ended in your region, if we are unable
to perform a deposit, you will receive your Credits as Microsoft Points, as specified in the transition FAQ previously available on the website and now featured at (https://rewards.microsoft.com/explore/xbox-to-ms-rewards-faq):

If Xbox Live Rewards is unable to deposit into your account for some reason, as long as you have not opted out to make the transition to Microsoft Rewards, any undeposited Xbox Live Rewards Credits and unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be automatically converted
to Microsoft Rewards points and be added to your Microsoft Rewards account to redeem for whatever you choose from the Microsoft Rewards catalogue.

    Do we get free live

The ability to play XBL should be reward enough... Blarg... Ngocphi is right there is a rewards program that gives you MSP for renewal and other actions you do. I don't have it in my region so i dont know.

    Anyone?

I would also suggest signing up for the bing rewards and XBL rewards. I have several thousand points from the bing program and XBL rewards.
