XBL Rewards program glitch

I've noticed that my xbox live rewards have started working for the first time in what feels like almost 2 years, meaning im finally accruing rewards points for purchasing content. since checking my account ive also noticed that I've been bumped down from
my 3 star VIP status back to 1 star, and i would love to know why. thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I would also suggest signing up for the bing rewards and XBL rewards. I have several thousand points from the bing program and XBL rewards.

^ Bing Rewards is a good one. I've been using their rewards program to mitigate the cost of XBL Gold.

MyVIP had a recalibration for the last few years. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015
and December 2016. We did not recalibrate this year (December 2017). Since you were a zero star member up until November, you did not get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).

Sounds pretty easy and simple. I'll have to sign up. Are there any other reward programs besides Bing and XBL Rewards?

For help with the Rewards program, you'll want to post in the Xbox Rewards Questions forum. For some reason some accounts do encounter a glitch when trying to sign up, but the program is still running.
