XBL is broken (again)

Core services are down across all platforms and devices - can't do anything! :'(

My XBL account is broken...

Look up your Skyrim save and see if there's an exclamation mark next to it. Also check to see if you still have problems when using a different profile.

 

My XBL account is broken...

A couple of days back i was going to play Battlefield 3 and when i started up the game it brought up all the welcome messages and settings as if i just got the game. When i went ingame all my stuff was all messed up and to go ingame and go set up all your
primary weapons and vehicle settings takes 15min. I tried restarting my console and it brought up all the welcome messages and settings AGAIN, and all my stuff was once again all the way it was as if i just bought the game.

So i gave up after 2 more tries then finally give up and then try to play Skyrim, this time it gets worse. I started the game and i tried selecting "continue" and a error message popped up saying the disk is unreadable, i then restart it and try picking
"load" and the same thing happened. Here's proof i know it's my profile, i signed into my brother's profile and ran Skyrim and everything loaded fine with no error messages, i put in Battlefield 3 and everything loaded fine and all of the settings on this
account was fine.

I tried deleting all my profile's game saves and the profile itself, redownloaded my profile and tried again, still didn't work with Battlefield 3. When i went in Skyrim i had to pick a new game and it worked, then i finally got to a save point, saved, and
dashboarded. Can you guess what happened when i tried to load my existing save file? Same thing, an error message popped up saying the disk is unreadable. I did clean the disk the first couple of times when i got the error message but i know it's not the disk
because there's not a single scratch or smear on that disk.

Welp, let me know when it's up and running again - thank goodness fall TV is back in the meantime... So far, The Muppets and Minority Report, I find, are actually pretty good.

 

I was signed in. Went to do some stuff and came back and it is asking me to connect which currently is not possible. Not a big deal just pointing that out since I have seen many times where if you were already signed in you could use the service. Hope
they have it back up by 8 e.

 

Oh, and my son was playing Mordor. It is the home console, my game. Now he cannot play. He was playing and it disconnected him and he cannot play know. Which is odd as I was thinking you could use games on the home console in those situations. Gets
the message "For this game, you need to be online." I get that message as well for some reason.

 

It's not every platform. 360 is fine. Have been signed in and watching Netflix for over an hour. =)

I was playing on my X1 when I was rudely booted offline. lol

 

It may just be me, but this seems to happen a lot more on this than it did on the 360. Could just be me though.

 

Yup can't log in to my xbox app and website that use my live account besides xbox.com

 

This is BS, I demand that it gets fixed immediately, I cant even play AC Unity and when trying to play Black Flag all my purchased DLC is gone. This is unacceptable and I wholly EXPECT this to be fixed !

Why in the do I need to be connected online to even play my digital games and have all my DLC playable ? Even my achievements are not working. I was under the impression that the always online need was untrue but as far as I can see it is. You console companies
need to be brought down a peg,several actually. You take take take and give nothing in return. Why I do business with you is beyond me, maybe I am sick or something.

Just to be clear , its not the outage that enrages me, that stuff happens and I am not unreasonable. However everything else I mention IS, I cant watch Netflix,YouTube play a good portion of my digital games and as I said some games do not work altogether
( Unity for example ). This is pathetic.
