    Some games or console bundles may include a prepaid code for a 2, 3, or 14 day Xbox Live Gold trial subscription.

    Legit billing info is required to access the free trial so that if you decide to continue using XBL gold after the trial is up, your info is already there to use. Should you not want to continue be sure to turn off auto-renew and you will not be charged.

    During the account creation process on the console, decline the option to purchase a Gold subscription, and then accept the offer for the trial. If you have exited this setup process though, there is no way to get back to the option to accept the trial.

    Each console will allowed 3 different accounts 1 month of free XBL Gold but only during account creation.
