    XBL Gold charging and only working for 1 day


    I have been getting some issues while trying to get Live Gold. Since 4/3 I have tried four times to get gold and I have been charged for it all the times I have tried, on the website it showed that I had the Gold and that it would expire only on the next
    month but if I refreshed the page the subscription went away and I didn't got my account upgraded on my console. Now recently I tried again, got charged and my subscription worked only for 1 day and it went to silver again, and this has repeated the last time
    I tried to get gold, yesterday. I would really like some help here, either get these four months on my account or get a refund.

    XBL as a paid service in the X1/Windows cross-play ecosystem

    If this strategy takes off and the paradigm reaches critical mass, they'll probably have to address this in some way. Charging PC gamers isn't one of them. That initiative failed years ago and they were stupid to even try it. I'd say their only option is grant multiplayer access only to XBL Silver members and bolster the benefits of XBL Gold.

    Halo 4 System has no XBL Gold Trial?

    Yes you read this right. I was lucky I kept my previous Halo games that had working 2 day trials for Gold. So I spend $350 and get no XBL Gold. But, people that spend $60-100 get a 14 day trial? That's wrong. Great job on getting back your customers.

    Most likely they've already been refunded, it just takes 3-5 days for the card companies to get you the money back. You'll need to contact support at

    Unsecure account and billing information

    No one has access to my card other than myself. The card is less than two years old and only one account is, or has ever been, associated with it. The console has not been in for service since the card has been used for my XBL account.

    Charges were made and credited back to the card that is associated with my XBL account, and on the same day more charges were made to the same card for a different XBL account. I assume whoever made and corrected the first unauthorized charge to my account
    made the second error, but that is only speculation.

    Ultimate Game Pass question

    The $1 charge is only for the first month. Once it's time for you to renew, you'll be charged the regular price. If you already have gold (and game pass) it will converted to the ultimate subscription. The Ultimate Game Pass includes gold, Xbox Game Pass,
    and PC Game Pass. The upside is that you only have 1 subscription for all 3.
