XBL gold account not registering

The registration of Gold account can sometimes take up to 24-48 working hour to register across all of the related Xbox and Microsoft systems. While Xbox Live may register that you are indeed gold, you will need
to wait for that to register with the other areas of XBL that you are interested in. Be patient and it will update.

Question - What is the point of claiming free games if you have no console to play them on?

And as above, you have to have a 360 registered on XBL and be Gold to download the freebies.

Just to add... I think I found the crux of the issue.

My XB1 does not see a XBL Gold subscription

My Xbox account on the web does not see a XBL Gold subscription

HOWEVER, my Microsoft account sees the XBL Gold subscription
