XBL gamertag banned but wasn't inappropriate??

My Gamertag has been Alpacadude01 for the last 5-6 years. Obviously, there's nothing offensive about the gamertag whatsoever, but today I got a message on a notice on "enforcement action". I had no idea what it was at first, and then realized my gamertag
is now . This is complete bs, there was nothing wrong with my gamertag and now I'm stuck with a GT that I need to pay $10 if I want to change it?

Is there a way I can get the old gamertag back?

Gamertag was taken but the gamertag wasn't in use

If the system says it's taken, then it's in use somewhere on Microsoft's servers. The tag system is used on other Microsoft services, so even if it's not being used on an Xbox, it could be used elsewhere. The system also doesn't seen things like spaces as
making a gamertag unique. So while you might search "gamertag" and it says it can't find it, it could still be in use as "gamer tag".

I got 2 XBOX Live account but I had to pay $9.99 to change it.

( it say the nickname is available and I didn't change it and didn't pay to change my gamertag yet )

I logout then I change to this account and trying to use that username, it said it was taken. ????

Excuse my grammar. It's like 3am here.

I went to checkgamertag and it does said it's available :/

Re the Urban Dictionary comment, I'm sure there are thousands of acronyms that show up on that site. If you banned every Urban Dictionary entry then there would be like 10 gamertags left on XBL. I've never seen any inappropriate interpretation of THF, nor
have I ever heard another player interpret my gamertag that way.

That name is clearly against the Code of Conduct and I recommend NOT changing it to it. The reason you were force changed to this name is because you had an inappropriate gamertag. Continuing to use inappropriate gamertags will result in a permanent account
ban.

if your Gamertag references inappropriate topics, even if it is a clever pun or euphemism, it can be reported and could result in your account being banned.

your Gamertag would also be changed to a randomly generated tag.
