    okay so apparently I accidentally made it to where xbox could renew my account, but that card has no money in it, and no one uses it, I bought a 12 month code and come to find out that I can't activate because my account is past due. Please help me. So I
    didn't just waste 60 dollars

    Just got home to a copy of Call of Duty. Inside had a code for a map and 7 day xbl trial.

    You would either need to add funds to the card you have on file or add a new credit card/Paypal to pay off the balance you owe before you can add the prepaid card.

    Accidental Detetion of Promo code sent via Dashboard

    Have you also checked your email tied to your XBL account? I noticed that every time I win a free promo code from XBL, I always have an XBL message with the code and an email that also has the code too.

    Hi, I need help with a problem with my gold card.

    I had a similar issue after purchasing a code online. Took 2 chat sessons, but after an hour of Chat time with XBL Support the 2nd time...ISSUE WAS RESOLVED!!!

    Turns out the USA region XBL code that I purchased was not ia US region code. The code was specific to Spain.

    Being a US resident, with a US region Xbox, M$/XBL would not allow me to redeem a region specific code for a region that my xbox would not be in.

    Contact XBL support and have them verify the region of your code.
