    I am using the following DNS servers from my ISP (UPC, Vienna, Austria)

    195.34.133.21

    195.34.133.22

    212.186.211.21

    The Xbox will either get the 1st and 2nd or 1st and 3rd as its primary and secondary DNS servers. Should I try something else like the Google's ones?

    If you don't know the DNS Servers of Google:



    Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8

    Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4



    Please let us know if this made any difference XBL Cant Connect/profile "Download" Error(8015190E) :)

  3. I've set the DNS servers on the Xbox to Google's one (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) and the result is still the same. On my computer tgs.prod.xboxlive.com and tile3.zune.net resolve to the same IP address when Google's DNS are used. So it doesn't look like a problem
    with UPC's DNS server.

    Hmm, that's very odd. Just looking back at your previous steps, when you tried manual port forwarding, did you make sure to turn off UPnP?

    I just did a whole bunch of tests again. I turned off UPnP and manually forwarded the ports listed here

    support.xbox.com/.../network-ports-used-xbox-live
    . It didn't help, including router reboot and switching to wireless.

    Then I connected the Xbox directly to the UPC modem again, it didn't work neither.

    So I switched back to my original config, wired connection to the router running DD-WRT with UPnP on and no manually forwarded port. Suddenly, the connection test says "Connected" for Xbox Live. So I went out and tried to sign in. The sign in failed again.
    Back to the network test and this time Xbox Live once again showed "Failed".

    So I rebooted the Xbox. Still unable to login, I performed the network test again, after about 6 or 7 failed attempt it said "Connected" again. So I tried to sign in again, it appeared to work and told me "x friends are online", but then it stuck at the
    home screen showing only the background of my theme with a turning waiting circle. After a while an error message appeared again and I am no longer signed in.

    Back to the network test again, and after two failures it says "Connected" and now I am finally able to sign in with a normal home screen and friend list. But I don't know how long it will last and don't know if I dare to turn off the Xbox again. The problem
    is certainly not on my side as I am now back to my original configuration. This is the first time in the last 4.5 year with the same console and ISP that something like this happened to me.

    Thank you for your assistance. So XBL is now "working" for me but I don't know about the OP (R3db4sS) so please don't close this thread yet.

    Hi,

    Just got home and tried it again. Still the same for me, cant Login.

    Did try 2 Reboots/Restarts (Modem/Xbox/etc..) didnt even once got into XBL. /also did several Connection tests, around 7-8 each restart)

    But i did the Console owns Traceroute, i get a Timeout on the same IPs CGGX had in his post about his trace.

    tgs.prod.xboxlive.com [65.55.42.183] NOT reached after the 30 hops

    tiles3.zune.net [65.5542.171] NOT reached after the 30 hops

    And about the same amount of steps till i get a connection to the others.

    Since its getting late i wont research it further today/night, but i deff will get back to it tomorrow(If the Problem is still there, and even if not i will let you know)

    Thanks to GCCX i think i have a good idea where to start to get all infos and see/post if it really is the same problem.

    If you want me to start a new Thread, just let me know pls.

    Sorry to hear the issue still exists.



    Could you try the following?

    1. Go to the Xbox Home screen

    2. Swipe all the way to the right using your RB button. This will bring you to the
    Settings tiles.

    3. Next, continue to System > Network Settings > Choose your network type > Configure Network

    From here, could you please tell me what your current DNS Settings are?

    Hi,

    First of all still teh same for me, sadly

    Since its the same ISP, i get the same DNS setting, DNS Server for UPC, like GCCX had.

    Prim. DNS; 195.34.133.21

    Sec. DNS; 212.186.211.21

    I just tried the same thing GCCX did and used the Google ones, still cant Login.

    tracert is also pretty much the same, Timeout for the 2 IPs.

    BTW, just did a quick reboot after my last post.

    I get a new Error every time i try to log in now. 80151904 instead of no Error code or 8015190E.

    Just to make sure i tried 2 Profiles, and both my HDDs. Both the same Code.

    Sorry to hear that the issue still exists.



    It seems like there are quite some issues lately with the DNS of Xbox Live. When you tried the Google DNS Servers, did you run a
    Xbox Live Connection test or did you try to login straight away? You can find this test at the
    Network Settings page.

    yeah i did the Test a few times and tryed login in a few times, with the Google DNS.

    I guess, i will give it a day till i try again, if its "a known issue" (kinda) maybe its just the Weekend paired with my bad luck XBL Cant Connect/profile "Download" Error(8015190E) :(

    If the the problem still stays on Monday/Thursday Night i will get back here for sure ^^

    And i will do the Portforward part, before i post, if i still have the problem then.

    DNS is one thing, but if it's the route your internet traffic takes, then you just have to wait. Right now, Level3 is having some issues between Level3 and Sprint, so that could be the cause.

    So its stil the same, did pretty much everything i coud think of, its pretty clear i cant do .... about it aka its the routing or what ever problem it is out of my range.

    Since the release of the 360 i never had more then 2 days downtime ( i can remember) but its 5 days alleady. And all the time there is a warning on matchmaking also. I wonder if Microsoft is even caring anymore, since they still charge for XBL.

    Anyway, i have 2 short question maybe you could be so nice to answer before i waste money on it, if i "download" F2013 (Games with Gold) on the Homepage, is it "saved" for my profile or do i need to start the DL on my Xbox for it to be saved ? In the End
    the game was the only reason since months to get my xbox(s) back out XBL Cant Connect/profile "Download" Error(8015190E) :p

    Hey there R3db4sS!

    Sorry to hear that issue still exists.

    Have you tried contacting your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to see if they might be blocking the DNS traffic of Xbox Live?



    Also, to answer your question:

    Once you download an item from the Xbox Marketplace, either a game or something else, it will be stored in your

    download history
    . This means that you can re-download that specific item whenever you'd like.

    About my ISP, would be suprised if they blocked it, since it was working for years, and CGGX is living in the same city and has the same ISP i have. But i will give it a try when im back home/tomorrow.
