    As myself and XBF Jasmine Z pointed out about Home Xbox, which answers your question in part and means your friends don't need live to play. Or as you state they use their own live assigned to their gamertag and sign in to play their games. You personally
    only need one Xbox Live account.

    Thank you for reaching out and letting me know it did not work properly for the link. I did go ahead and opened up the thread again after discussing it with our team. We feel that the

    Bug- Cross platform thread
    has a lot of feedback from everyone and is a good play to gather for updates. We will be changing it into a discussion and providing information there.

    In case the hyperlink is broken again, here is the link in reference:

    BUG - Cross platform play does not enable for child accounts no matter what settings you set. This needs EPIC/MS attention
