XB360 bckup digital purchased games

I get worried my USB hd will fail & I will lose my digitally purchased games. Is there an easy way to backup the games by connecting the drive to a pc & creating an image?

There is a built-in "copy" in the settings of the xb360, but I think this is for individual games only & not the whole hard drive and it will take forever. Is there an easier way on the xb360? I love how it is done on the XB1, as you can just copy the entire
game set & be safe.

Anything you purchase digitally is tied to your account so you can redownload it for free. Xbox data is not meant to be seen by a PC and moved between the two. So there is no legit way to save 360 games on a PC that way.

I would point out that the are some exceptions to this. In the rare occasion that a game is removed from the store you might not be able to re download it, however this is very rare.

As long as the games are purchased digitally the purchase is attached to your account and if something happens to your HD all you would have to do is sign into the account that owns the games digitally and would be able to redownload them.

As long as you have xbox live gold with your account your game progress is saved to the cloud.

They're installing 360 discs on a 360 console. That has been possible for a very long time.

Sure but from disc and not as a download from Xbox live (if you hadn't purchased the digital version). And I think that was the question.

That's why a scratched 360 disc might work on the XB1 but not on the XB360 anymore.
