    XB1X voice commands New Zealand


    Hi there, just "upgraded" to XB1X from XB1 with Kinect and discovered that local Xbox voice commands no longer work because there is no hole to stick the Kinect into!

    Cortana is not available in New Zealand and I don't want to use it anyway, tooooooo slow.

    Now to be able to use the Kinect to use voice commands I have to purchase an additional adapter at my cost, bit of a cheek don't you think.

    I would like you to fix the OS to allow the mic on the headset through the controller to be available for Kinect voice commands or send me a free Kinect adapter for my inconvenience please.

    What do you think, fair?

    Voice support for usb 3rd party webcam

    Please allow microphone support on the 3rd party usb webcams to function while connected to the xbox one / XB1x. I would like to be able to continue to use the voice chat / voice commands via 3rd party webcam mics while connected to xb1 & xb1x.

    "Record That" Without Kinect

    Id much rather have a button map (maybe both analog sticks clicked in) and i have Kinect, but MS is still to useless to add voice commands in New Zealand

    Even if i had voice commands id rather a button to activate record

    Xbox 1 has voice commands, but there's a catch. Microsoft wants you to get a Kinect. I've had Xbox 1 since Day 1. And I honestly can say the console with Kinect is well worth the investment. It's a catchy name too. Kinect lets you CONNECT like to your Xbox
    experience. I kind of moaned to when Microsoft locked out Voice Commands for New Zealand. But they provided an Update several months back which lets us use Voice Commands under New Zealand locale. There are language options like English Australia etc. Several
    of New Zealanders complained about it and even switched their locale setting to Australia. Now we don't have to do that. Australia is only like 2 hours behind NZ time.

    I am from New Zealand and voice commands are not yet active here, I have to change my region to Australia to be able to use this feature.

    Switch your locale to New Zealand. You cant use voice commands if you have your locale setting for NZ cuz M doesnt have it ready for NZ.

    There is no way to turn on voice commands in Ireland? I guess I might understand if you had to seperately enable then to sorta "agree that it might not understand your accent". I've heard it's the same for New Zealand and possibly Australia?

    Can any fe. germans confirm whether they have english voice commands working?
