    XB1X Trying to leave Insider and now it's E101/E106?


    I wanted to change my Xbox One X (Project Scorpio model) back to the release. I removed it from Insider using the app on the console. When it rebooted it stopped at an E101 error.

    It shows 19041.4788 as the version. Is there any sort of USB stick recovery I can use to resurrect this box? I tried the troubleshooting; both without and with removing the games. No success. I downloaded the OSU1 from Microsoft and it gets to about 6% and then errors out.

    I know how to remove the drive and am prepared to do that to erase it and redo the partitions. But I'm willing to try any/all other steps first to save me the hassle. Is there some magic version of an OSU that'll bring this back to life?

    I have this same problem too, I get stuck on either E101 or E106 after trying all types of reset and OSU restore. I hope MS can post an updated OSU for insider builds or point us in the right direction on how to solve this

    Thanks, and what E101 again would mean? It also appeared.

    With E106 it appeared that 6% in Offline Recovery and then Error occured.

    microsoft needs to make a tool to restore Xbox bios or backup (don't ignore me please)

    And how am I supposed to update my Xbox when it's in an infinite loop of errors E101 and E106 because the startup is damaged?
