    xb1s cant connect to my internet


    i booted up my xbox one s a while ago to play with some friends (i used my ipad to know they were online and it had fine internet to xbox servers and my modem) and i cant choose to go to my friends list i go down to setting and it says connect to xbox live
    i think okay must of just disconnected last night, i go to connect and it says im not even set up to my wireless network i think okay maybe there was an update, now i click set up wireless network and it has no networks coming up only add new network, it asks
    me for my networks SSID and i put it in, it says checking connection, then it says cannot connect to your wireless network, now it has all the usual wireless problem fixers but the thing is my ipad and every other electronic in my household can connect to
    the network and my bedroom (where my tv and xbox are located) has no Ethernet port. so im just wondering what would cause the SSID to cause the cannot connect to wireless network if the network is running fine?

    when i sign in to my xbox live profile i cant connect even when i am connected to my internet and still cant connect with my profile

    Connected to Wifi but XB1 thinks it's offline. Can't connect to any Live services.

    Greetings Forum, got the same issue. XB1 boots up, Networks WLAN is connected, NAT type open, but i cant connect to Twitch,Youtube, Store, My Profile ... simply cant connect to any online content. But XB1 means everyhting is good, I even have normal up/download/ping
    in network test. So what could I do? Same with network cable ;)

    Its not your internet OP or your connection,its just another half hearted attemp by MS cutting corners,and giving us an incomplete service,another update is definitly needed,Ive noticed exactly the same thing and im on underground fiber to premise,300mb.But
    hey its free it is what it is,il get my content creator now,was hoping for more from xb1 twitch,but ya cant MP when the system your using to stream makes the game your playing lag.

    Your recommended stream 2500kbps I presume is because of the quality of your internet,lowering it wont make any difference its the xb1 that cant cope with it sadly.

    Come on MS get something right please.

    I am guessing your setup is in a dorm and you are using the campus setup correct? If this is true you will need to contact your campus IT department. Even if you are connected via Ethernet cables you are still feeding off the same connection as everyone
    else and need permission from the IT department to use your console.
