XB1 Wont update

Ive tried factory reset, unplugged for 5 minutes, reset modem. Its as if it doesnt sense it needs to update. It even shows last update 11/16/2015 1:35 AM. So it is checking if updates are needed. And yes Im connected online. Any help would be appreciated.

Also I did read a thread with a link to update offline, but that link didnt seem to work for me. If anyone has it, maybe that would solve my issues.

Game DVR Error: "Sorry We Couldn't Record That (0x82323012)"

When I first had my xb1 it recorded since I turned it off and now turned it back on after updates it wont record either

 

My system dosent turn off, wont update games in "sleep mode"

Well i know the xb1 stays running when you turn if off, but Why wont my xbos auto update games? Every time i get on i have to update a game, but i have auto update on

I have tried the links in it and they are working, try following the steps to manually update your console in it again and feedback here how you get on, if you need any assistance also please post back here

Can you tell us what your current dashboard version number is please?

1. Scroll left from Home to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Your OS version is located in the third row down on the right.
   

 

Not to hijack the thread but I am having the same issue so I figured I would keep it consolidated. I am participating in the Preview Program so I have had the new dashboard for a while but now that everyone has it I still haven't recieved the final update
so I am stuck with the buggy beta.

However, your build number does indicate that you are running the NXOE general release build

 

ENFORCER ALKQN, you seem to be running the September 2015 build, have you tried the manual dashboard update instructions at

support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool ?

When you followed the steps to manually update your console, did you get any sort of error message on screen?

 

Nope, no error message, it does say update failed under settings, then when I connect to the internet it says console updated. Its like it doesnt realize it needs to update.

I believe Im doing it right. The only question I have with the steps is as I hold bind and eject, when I go to hit the XB button it powers on as normal. I expected a delay or something. I know I should get 2 beeps but all I get is the initial one and then
it powers on. Shall I try another usb and give it another shot?

 

yeah give it another go, it may take a few times to get it right.

Make sure you are doing this with the console off (not in standby)

"About the buttons and beeps

Pressing the BIND and EJECT buttons at the same time forces the console to look for the USB drive update, as the console will not look for a USB drive unless it needs it. This helps to decrease console start times for all startups when this step
is not needed.

The first power-up tone will occur approximately 10 seconds after powering up. This indicates that a USB update has been detected. The second power-up tone indicates that the update file has been copied and mounted. This is important, as
it confirms you have a compatible Xbox One system update based on your current build. This informs the system which build is currently installed on the console, and whether the update is compatible with that build."

 

I didnt get a chance to try last night, but I will tonight. Just wanted to give an update so no one thinks it worked and I didnt have the courtesy of saying so.

 

Well it looks like a lost cause. I tried 2 different usb drives too. My worry is that sometimes when I hit bind and eject it starts automatically. But out of the 100 or so times, well I'm sure a few were pressed right, but still nothing. Looks like I'm gonna
have to send it in. Although I'll probably just buy a new one.
