    Hi all,

    I am looking at purchasing the ' Live TV Bundle for Xbox One' however I already use a Cablebox to send video to my Xbox. Are there any reasons why both inputs (Cable via HDMI & OTA via USB) wouldn't play nice together?

    As a follow up question, and if they do play nice ... what happens when I say 'Xbox watch FOX'? Would the XBOX know how to differentiate between selecting the Cable Input FOX vs. the OTA FOX. If I were to purchase the bundle, I would want the XBOX to default
    to OTA if that channel is available on OTA.

    I have a question about the TV tuner. I understand that you plug the tuner into the XB1 through USB, not HDMI. I have an Xbox 360 hooked up to my XB1 through the HDMI-in port. In order to play 360 games, I have to use the TV app, and the TV tuner uses the
    TV app as well in order to work. I also understand that when you plug in the TV tuner, the OneGuide separates the TV tuner channels from the "HDMI content". My question is this: if I have a TV tuner with a coax cable connected through the XB1's USB port AND
    an Xbox 360 connected through the XB1'S HDMI-in port (both at the same time), can I switch back and forth between my Xbox 360 and my TV tuner when using the TV app? Thanks for the help!

    Digital TV Tuner and Freesat? (UK)

    Unfortunately, the digital TV tuner will not work with Freesat. Freesat uses the DVB-S (Satellite) broadcast standard, whereas the Digital TV Tuner only supports DVB-T (Terrestrial).

    Xbox One X - PVR (UK Freeview)?

    I can't answer the UK Freeview bit, here is what I know about the Hauppauge Digital TV Tuner for Xbox:

    • It can be used to view compatible OTA TV stations,
    • The OneGuide app can be used to view the Digital TV Tuner stations,
    • IIRC there is a pause live TV function however it may be restricted to a maximum of 30 minutes,
    • Microsoft was working on an update to enable longer PVR functionality but that was put on hold some months ago, I don't know if they plan to restart that.

    That last point disappointed me when it was announced as I specifically bought the Hauppauge Digital TV Tuner for Xbox when I read that they were working on the PVR feature.

    The pause live TV function is nice though if you just need a short bathroom break.
