Xb1 warranty and stock headset

Warranties cover the replacement of the product itself, not for the shipping part of it. This is fairly standard with the large majority of companies I've dealt with when sending components in for RMA's.

Same problem here. I have the headset adapter, the Elite controller. I've also tried it with my stock controller that came with the XB1.

The XB1 has been hard reset.

The controller has been updated.

The option is greyed out no matter what I try.

I got a 2-year warranty for the Foxtrots only because I'm so used to having terrible luck with headsets... (PS2 stock, 360 stock.) So far so good, and there really is no comparison here in build quality between this set, and a stock 360 mic.

Alright, after another 3 reps, and 2+ hours today, I finally got one that said they do not have a stock of the headset for replacement and just offered me credit to my account. Better then nothing but obviously the credit cant be used directly towards a
replacement headset.

The fact it took this level of craziness is disturbing for a warranty claim.

My buddy and I both have it happen sometimes but it usually resolves it self. The xbox one party chat system is terrible compared to the 360 and is probably on a long list of bug Microsoft has yet to get around to. We tend to just use skype all the time
anymore because of it.

You could try turning the party to invite only then back to open to see if that will fix it, that fixes the issue where suddenly you cant hear the other person but not sure about your problem.
