Xb1 system updates

Ive been a big xbox supporter for some yrs now,im on me second xb1 my first console was faulty wouldnt turn on ive read many comments from users with the same issue.The current xb1 as been grt no issuues just update bugs but hardware wise been grt,the one
thing i enjoy is xb1 kinnect never had issues worked grt until last update now the kinect is bricked.if it was hardware failure id say fair enough it will fall in a percetage rate but it bricking after system update worries the hell out of me,what next.....loseing
heart now with xb1.....

These frequent updates are kind of annoying.

If you have your XB1 set for automatic updates that includes system updates as well. Just make sure your XB1 is in instant-on mode otherwise it won't update. You're welcome.

 

Game update wont download

Just bought an xb1 and titanfall. System update worked but when i go to download the update for titanfall it goes straight to the "something went wrong" message. Connection is fine as im posting this off my xb1. Can anyone help?

 

my xbox won't update the newest xb1 update even tho it is connected and goes up to 10% and stops for some reason need help please???

 

I am losing faith here as well. I think after an update my game started throwing error 0x8027025a. Finally i gave up and restore to factory default now i can't event install game.

 

It could be the fact everyone is trying to download it at once. I would wait and try again later...perhaps later tonight.

 

Hi itz darrell i read that a beta tester who tested this update had a similar problem with the update,he turned the xb1 completely off when it rebooted went to his dashboard as normal,he tried again with success,hope this helps.....

 

after the april update my xb1 comes on and you hear the disk check but it does nothing from there. Who know what this is. I insert my disk and the screen reads "insert disc".

 

mine just bricked on the latest update. offline update 2 doesn't do it (neither does 1)..and all of support appears to be broken. no ambassador support, phones closed early (!?!?), and the live chat window keeps having problems and saying 'chat not initialized.
- not a fan right now, Microsoft.

 

Killer have you tried the reboot yourself if that doesn't work you can try this

Unplug console from mains, unplug your Kinect from console

Plug console back into mains, power up go into setting choose Kinect

Plug Kinect back into console wait for it to be recognised recalibrate

If this doesn't fix it you might need repair/exchange good luck

 

Those with updating issues go to top of page to support in dropdown select Xbox one select system then choose what your issue is keep an eye out for the diagnostic tool

 

StarLynx try a reboot press console button 8 seconds unplug from mains 30 seconds power back up have you tried other discs

 

Hi growling yapper i did all as u said twice over and absolutely nothing from the kinect totally dead just kinect unplugged notification on dasboard,ive requested a repair and took it to ups this morning just wait now,but do miss the kinect thou xb1 seems
less enjoyable without it.....

Ok a update to my post,i recieved my kinect this morning and most impressed just under a week to recieve the replacement ive it set up as i write this post and all ok so far,the only initial worry was that when i plugged it in to xb1 whilst on kinect settings
a msg said a problem with kinect and to press power button for 5 secs,i did that and only when xb1 booted up to dashbord and a few mins did the kinect power up.everything since like setup as been great etc,just curious is that normal my other kinect was setup
with xb1 when i first bought it never had any msg.....but very happy my kinect is back so is mrs she doesnt ave to reach for tele remote anymore.....lol
