    XB1 sunset bundle chat problem


    There is the thing, I have bought the new white xbox one and when I going in to the party. My friends can hear me but I can not hear them and my friends can hear others except me. I have changed the system in gamestop and the problem still there.I want know
    is it the hardware problem?

    Sorry for all the trouble you guys are having. I'm borrowing and XB1 from my cousin but plan to get the Sunset Overdrive bundle. If this isn't ironed out by then I'll have to stick with the PS4.

    hello this is no Hardware Problem. I believe it is a Problem of your Settings...

    First Thing to say for a good Party/ Online/ Chat-expirience a open NAT is recommended.

    the first Thing you can check is the NAT. NAT can cause such Issue`s!

    go to Settings -> Network

    (here should be stand your NAT-Status:

    there where 3 of them : Open (best), moderat (good), strikt (bad).)

    If your NAT is open everthing is fine and you^ll looking for a hardwarefailure.

    I suggest you to read this, than you^ll know what Problem is. if Headset or Settings.

    If you Need to open NAT (Ports) ask for it, and someone will tell you which ports it Needs. or you can find it on xbox.com

    and last but not least:
    Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage

    the XBL Service Status can give you further info, actually it is not running as smooth like it should.

    Xbox one controller keeps shutting off after i plug in the mic!

    I will share with you my two cents after having this same issue on my BRAND NEW XB1 Sunset bundle controller.

    Controller turns off instantly after plugging in either the headset adapter OR chat headset. Controller firmware is up to date, performed hard reset, tested with friends controllers and headsets ect.

    Bottom line is, this is either an outstanding firmware issue that they have yet to resolve or their is an issue in their manufacturing processes that causes defective controllers to shut off when any chat adapter is plugged in.
