    XB1 Streaming To Win10. Data entry issue


    I almost always stream my XB1 to my PC. In the past whenever I would have an option to enter text (where the on screen keyboard pops up) I would also get another pop up that allowed me to enter information using my PC keyboard. It stopped working about 2
    weeks ago. As in, I don't get the pop up that allows me to use my PC keyboard for entry anymore. It makes me use the on screen keyboard with the controller. I have no clue why this stopped working and cant figure out how to make it work again.

    Agree. It need include XB1 and even WIN10 games when WIN10 comes out in the market.

    XB1-stream-to-Win10 no longer work, keeping asking me to sign in my XB1 with same account

    It worked before, I could play my XB1 remotely from my Windows 10 PC. About 1 or 2 weeks ago I tried to play again but it no longer work. When choosing the stream option in the Win10 Xbox App, it always prompt me an error message, saying that I need to sign
    in my XB1 with the same account. But I am sure I have signed in both my Win10 PC and XB1 with the same Microsoft account.

    Both my Win10 PC and XB1 are connected to the same home router, located in the same subnet 192.168.5.X, with subnet mask 255.255.255.0.

    Any advice?

    I'm not sure what I did, if anything, but my XB1 now appears on my network, allowing me to stream some content. MetroTube on Surface will stream to XB1 without a problem, but trying to stream a .MOV will cause the Surface to blue screen. Weird issue, but
    that's something to bring up on some other forum.

    To emphasise; this is a new problem. I've streamed hundreds of hours of gaming with this exact set up and as far as I can tell nothing has changed from my perspective. Unless there had been an update to either the app or the Xbox?
    Since you say you are in Alpha Skip Ahead, and that issue happened just now, please file feedback via the Xbox Insider App, and check the

    Xbox Insider Reddit     if others have similar issues.

    It might be an issue introduced in a Skip Ahead version. So please inform the team of your issue via the Feedback option and through the Insider Reddit.

    EDIT: It seems that other
    Alpha and Alpha Skip Ahead Users have the same issue    . So it's not an issue with your setup, but a bug that was introduced in this Alpha/Skip Ahead.

    You'll just have to wait until that issue gets resolved, and remember to file feedback!
