    XB1 streaming glitches


    I am streaming Fallout 4 to a Windows 10 PC that is hard-wired to the same LAN as my XB1. I keep my XB1 and PC updated religiously. When I run the streaming test it reports that the network is capable of handling "Very High" quality.

    The problem: regardless of time of day or any other obvious environmental factor, I get a glitch about every 10 minutes. The sound and motion stop for maybe 5 seconds. When they re-start my character has typically moved quite a distance, which can be
    a problem if I happen to be near a cliff or trying to stay behind cover. It makes streaming nearly worthless. When it happens, I usually (but not always) see a message in the lower right-hand corner of the screen saying there's a problem with network quality.
    Not sure whether that's coming from the game or the streaming app.

    I've tried two different PCs (both hard-wired) and see the same thing.

    I've tried to make sure that the streaming app is the only thing running but that doesn't seem to make a difference. There are, of course, many background processes running, but nearly all are services that seem risky to disable.

    Did you try streaming the Xb1 to your PC.

    Xbox one streaming to win 10 pc....

    I was wondering. I got streaming to work all fine and dandy but my noob question is, can I run streaming while the xb1 is off, once establish the stream? It seems like a waste of electricity to run my pc and xb1 at the same time....

    No System Video Player on Xbox One?

    Download Skifta app. Connect to your wifi , open the XB1 video app, the navigate to the file to stream on your phone or tablet and viola, you can stream on XB1.

    We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused but rest assured we are here to help. We, however need more information on this matter. Is this happening on any games or just the two apps listed? Has any troubleshooting been done? Has the console been
    connected to another tv or another hdmi cable? Let us know so we can iron this out!

    Screen Glitch while streaming XB1-X

    I also have this problem and its utterly annoying. Have you tried a soft reset yet?

    1. Turn off the console and then unplug the power for 10 seconds.

    2. Plug back in then hold the eject button and the controller sync button until you hear 2 start up tones.

    3.Power up the console and you will be met with a reset screen.

    4.Select Reset and then select Reset and Keep Games and Apps.

    Play To disappearing

    I had trouble even pushing a video stream to XB1 using Play To. I abandoned the Play To approach and now use the new Media Player app to stream files to the XB1. With Media Player, you can browse and select your video library without leaving XB1.

    I'm not sure what I did, if anything, but my XB1 now appears on my network, allowing me to stream some content. MetroTube on Surface will stream to XB1 without a problem, but trying to stream a .MOV will cause the Surface to blue screen. Weird issue, but
