XB1 smart glass app does not work as a remote control w/ netflix?

today on i-phone an update came across for the xb1 smartglass app.
‎Xbox
under description it says bug fixes.

we are now on version 2.2 and at 24.3mb

 

How to connect smartglass to One?

^^^this,i removed my 360 app and downloaded the XB1 smartglass app

 

If I remember correctly you use your phone as a remote, you have to install the Netfilx app on your phone. You don't use smartglass as a remote for Netflix or YouTube.

It use to work (A) and (B) to select and go back via the smart glass app while using netflix. that's a bummer. ok. thanks for the input. Maybe this is something MS might "consider" changing for the next smart glass app update. its been a long time since
there has been an update.
