XB1 S shuts down upon starting a game

Discus and support XB1 S shuts down upon starting a game in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My Xbox One S shuts down when i start a random game. It doesn't matter what game it is.     XB1 S shuts down upon starting a game


    My Xbox One S shuts down when i start a random game.

    It doesn't matter what game it is. When i try again it either happens again or the game works without problems.

    on Reddit there are others with the same issue.

    I hooe they wil fix this soon because it most likely happend to me and others since the last update.

    Serious Problem with Dragonborn -- Black Book "Sallow Regent"

    Sorry about the double post, but there IS a fix. I saved my last game (WITH the noise) and shut down my XBox360. Upon starting up about an hour later, and resuming that saved game, the noise was gone. Go figure. .

    Couple Quick Questions.

    Lol, I doubt they'll shut down the game completely. I'm sure the servers will still be populated upon Battlefield 3's release. But yeah, I'm also considering trading in Bad Company though. We did have some good times though so it might be tough </3

    Xbox One X - System shuts down with no warning.

    I bought a Gears 4 XB1 S and it would randomly shut down too, OP.

    Luckily, it did this to me right from the start, so I was able to take it back to the store for an exchange. Its a legitimate problem and I hope MS fix it for you.

    Sorry to hear it. Can you please try removing all storage devices that you have from the console and try starting it up?

    If it starts without issue then add one storage device and restart. Continue doing this until you run into the problem again. If it happens then the issue is being caused by that storage device and it would need to be replaced.

    If the console has this issue without the storage device attached then the console should be sent in for repair.
