Discus and support xb1 s loud fan in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have a new ( black Friday purchase) XB1 1TB battlefield 1 TB ed. that has a supper loud fan. it almost sounds like its hitting a wire while running....     xb1 s loud fan


    I have a new ( black Friday purchase) XB1 1TB battlefield 1 TB ed. that has a supper loud fan. it almost sounds like its hitting a wire while running. the sound is coming from the exhaust vent and it dosen't change speed/sound when I play a game. do I need
    to take it back to where I got it or have to send it in.

    Xbox One X Fan sounds way louder than usual

    Ok I moved it and it has not shut off sense but the Xbox One X Fan noise is not constant and is still loud maybe not as loud as a jet engine like I describe before but still loud way louder than my Xbox One S and OG Xbox One, it would have a fan burst
    when I'm playing which is loud and annoying and the fan noise would never be at a constant noise level while I'm playing a game.

    whats wrong with my slim?

    I got 3 working 360's the 250GiB is the loudest and the problem im having trouble with. When i turn it on the fan inside gets massively loud like as loud as a convecter heater or standing next to a 150MPH wind turbine then it gets quieter then louder etc
    etc so on and so forth. the xbox isnt doing anything but being on. then i'll start a game that is installed and moments while playing the fan gets louder and louder then goes quiet the 10 min later or so the fan starts getting louder again. the xbox is well
    ventelated and does the same thing on all games. its giving me a headache.

    Microsoft claim the S or slim is whisper quiet.. well don't believe everything they tell you.

    Sorry to hear about the noise issue, but it does sound like there was something damaged during shipping. We'd suggest exchanging it with the retailer if they have a replacement available. Otherwise you can set up a console repair online to get this issue

    Xbox series s makes noise that aren’t coming from the fan, and you can also hear it when the console is off, is that normal?

    It is the fan which is cooling your system, however it should not be loud like that. It is possible that the fan is damaged if the sound is that loud.
