XB1 replaced, fixed, but Live Gold subscription not working

I have an XBOX One and I have an issue with my XBOX Live Gold subscription.

Context: my XB1 had to be replaced one month ago, because the previous one was not working properly. It was returning errors randomly and after a few weeks, I was not able to make it work at all. I got a new XB1 console replacing the previous one, which
seems to be working well.

However, it seems like I cannot use the XBOX Live Gold subscription I had previously purchased and have been using. When I try to re-enter the code, it says that it has been used before (it certainly has been used before: in my old XB1 console!).

I need your help to make this work, by re-activating the code or another alternative you may provide.

Microsoft giving free digital games for users with broken disc drives

I was just told this while chatting with an MS rep about a separate issue: "Every console sent in for repair will have a free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription after the repair. However for those with disc unreadable issue, on top of the free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription, they'll receive a free game token." They will email the code after the replacement XBox has shipped.

Gold is attached to your account, not to your console. So having a console repaired should not affect the subscription. If you're not able to access gold features on the console, you will need to contact support directly. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the

You confused me? You said you want to make B2 your main XB1 account, but take away its gold to put onto C3? Haha, but in reality, if an account has an Xbox Gold Membership, whether it be on XB1 or XB360, it will work on both consoles. So I would suggest
either of a couple of options:

1. Deleting A1's subscription and adding a subscription to C3. So you can use B2 on XB1 and your kids can use C3 on the XB360.

2. If you want to you can delete all Memberships except B2, and just share usage between the consoles.

3. You could look into Gold Sharing, which allows you to have one gold membership on Xbox One for all your accounts on that console. NOTE: This offer does not extend to XB360

4. Other than that there is no way to transfer Gold Memberships to other accounts.

They have; it'll be replaced soon by shared Xbox Live Gold which will allow multiple accounts (on the same console, I believe) to use another profile's Gold membership for the one subscription.

Do you gave an Xbox One? If so, all you have to do is have one account with Xbox Live Gold and all the other accounts on that same console will automatically have Xbox Live Gold as well. Family subscriptions were replaces with "Xbox Live Home Gold".

was it the "update" for Ultimate Game Pass?

if so that does cancel the Live Gold subscription but replaces it with Ultimate Game Pass (which has all the benefits of Live Gold with all the features of Game Pass).
