Discus and support xb1 remote and kinect voice command, not completing the channel change.... in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; any others having the same problem ? when either changing the channel with the remote or controller, it won't finish all the digits to my desired...     any others having the same problem ? when either changing the channel with the remote or controller, it won't finish all the digits to my desired channel. it's rather annoying. any quick fixes ?

    Not able to change channels with xbox controller or voice command

    Yesterday, I was able to use my xbox controller, voice commands and cable box remote control to change TV channels. Last night and today , I can barley change channels with any of them. For instance if I use the one guide for channel 529, it will do nothing
    or possibly change to channel 5 or 2 or something. Same with voice command. Also, now my cable box remote barely works. Not good.

    Is it worth it to buy the kinect for xb1?

    I too was thinking about getting a Kinect and also hook up my cable box to my XB1 and i was thinking about getting a XB1 media remote as well. Because I wanna channel surf with my voice(I hope you can use the media remote to change the channel)

    Sorry to hear about the channel change issues! So when you type a channel, does it jump to a channel before you finish typing? What exactly happens when you attempt to type the channel in? Just so I don't leave you with just questions, let's try a good ol'
    power cycle!

    • Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
    • Once the console is powered off, unplug the power and let it sit for 5 minutes,
    • Eat a sandwich or some chips.
    • Plug the console back in and power on.
    • Verify if the issue persists.

    xbox 1 not changing the channels on vip 722 receiver

    Same situation here dish vip722 is is detected by xb1 and so is my tv but no voice commands to change channel's. .. my ir remote code is set to 1 it was on 27 before I followed steps to correct that but still no luck in voice commands changing channels thru
    one guide. ....

    Xbox OneGuide Missing Channels - DirecTV

    I've noticed the same exact issue. I went ahead and already put show all SD and HD channels but still missing numerous channels. For now I just use my TV remote in conjunction with my Kinect Voice Commands. I even tried using the Voice Command for one channel
    that wasn't showing (NFLNET) and it wouldn't pull up that channel but it displays fine using the TV remote.

    I changed the settings on my DirecTV Menu, Settings, Remote, from RF (radio frequency) to IR (InfaRed) now the channels change with voice commands, my controller works & the bottom screen icons too! When changing this remote controls setting to IR you must
    be able to point your DVRs remote at the TV in plain view if your are not using Voice Commands in XB1 (no DVR in cabinets or home theater behind walls to block IR signal) RF is handy if you hide your DVR or it's enclosed...
